    hey could anyone tell me if they know

    if you wear a XL mma glove would a 16 oz glove fit? or shorter oz.

  • tinoheat728:

    i was wondering how these gloves feel to be hit with? cuz i heard they feel like pillows to be hit with, so i just wanted to confirm that. thanks bro.

  • Mr291229:

    Question? I just bought some everlast boxing gloves 16oz and I want to hit the heavy bag are these gloves good for what I want to do with it, hitting the heaybag.

    Don’t ever do bag or pad work in your sparring gloves (especially if you do buy some high end ones). It’ll compress the padding, and the gloves will wear out much quicker.

    Plus, if you like your sparring partners, don’t get Reyes sparring gloves. The padding is so hard, honestly it’s worse getting hit by 16 oz Reyes than by some 10 oz fight gloves!

    I have Winning headgear (FG-2900) and it is fantastic, it’s pretty expensive but is well worth it.

    I use Grant Professional Training Gloves in 16 oz, they are excellent quality and I actually prefer them to the Winnings I tried. They are a lot smaller (more similar to a fight glove) but they still have great protection for my sparring partner’s face, my hands and have very good wrist support.

    Their quality is comparable to Winings, but they are round about half the price!

  • aherna111:

    agreed!

  • aherna111:

    ya i hear they are really expensive too i have the 12oz fighting sports they are garbage i was dissapointed idk what gloves to get

  • MAS4T0:

    @aherna111

    No, I was going to but after trying on a friends I decided that they were too big. With the winnings, if I keep put my hands up, I’m completely safe.

    Problem with this is that when I’m fighting in 10 oz Cletos, if I do the same, I’m still going to get hit…

    The gloves are very good, but unless you have brittle hands, injuries, or hit like George Foreman you don’t need the level of protection they provide.

    @JRafanan

    For sparring, he uses the 16 oz lace up (MS-600).

  • aherna111:

    most likley 16 if you notice they are pretty big

  • aherna111:

    do you have these gloves? i wanna try themn out

  • MAS4T0:

    @aherna111

    It depends on how exacting their quality control is.

    I weighed my 14 oz Twins gloves, and they were actually just over 16 oz!

    Also, if there is a fair bit of padding in the cuff (and therefore less on the hand area) they tend to FEEL lighter.

  • JRafanan:

    Can anyone tell what type of Winning Gloves that Manny Pacquiao uses?? I know he uses the white ones a lot..I just need to know the type..Is it MS-600 16 oz??14 oz??

  • aherna111:

    there 16oz… how are they lighter??? there all 16oz meaning they weigh the same!!

  • MrHifonics:

  • tufintraining:

    I like this guys reviews, he must have a lot of money to be spending on all the different boxing equipment.

  • Elchori79:

    someone try with windy gloves, Fairtex, or Triumph United ??….

  • churrss:

    How would a pair of these compare to thie size of Rival high preformance sparring gloves 16oz.?

    What I mean is the size, weight, feel etc.

  • ratethisgear:

    Not sure how long they would last, i only had mine for less than a year. Grants are great quality gloves nevertheless

  • DiciplesOfChrist:

    What do you think of the durability, my Grants lasted 5 years doing mostly sparring and some bag work using them everyday, are the Winning gloves durable in that sense?

  • FighterSpirito:

    i think exacly the same man i ve been using them now for the past 4 years

  • ryyonvin:

    Fighting gloves are not made by Winning. Fighting is based off of the design of Winning but they are made in a factory in China and not in Japan like Winning.

  • TGUNZ562:

    Fighting Gloves are made by Winning, TITLE just distributes them. Fighting is much cheaper but, with everything in life, you lose quality with the lower price. Kinda like the difference between a Cadillac and a Chevy. Winning is the highest quality boxing equipment in the world, in my opinion. It is not, however, made out of real leather. Artificial leather is used to make Winning equipment. So, if you want top of te line leather with less protection I would stick with Reyes/Grant.

  • alectrifyingalex:

    yes mate, they the same. you dont get 14,16,18 oz fight gloves do you loll.
