Overall this is a nice glove and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a “professional fight glove” feel because it is definitely a hard hitting glove. The quality is without question the best I’ve seen. Its also a very nice looking and compact glove. If you have long fingers you might have a hard time with it especially during the breaking period. Safety 8 (great wrist support, secure thumb, though firm foam may be a negative) Quality 10 (high quality cut of leather, best in business stitching, leather seam around palm opening) Construction 10 (unbeatable) Comfort 8 (the thumb and slightly undersized hand compartment are the only drawbacks) Value 9 (expensive but you get a very high quality glove, would be a 10 at 0) Appearance 10 (simple and very well done so nothing to distract from the overall appearance) Technology N/A Overall 9

Junior middleweight (154 pounds) prospect Glen Tapia (8-0, five knockouts) served as a sparring partner for WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs) as he prepared for his Top Rank Promotions, Nov. 13, WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) victory and his eighth championship over as many weight divisions with an HBO televised unanimous decision over ex-titlist, Antonio Margarito (38-7, 27 KOs).
But Tapia said that his favorite boxer is WBC middleweight (160 pounds) Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 KOs), who dethroned Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32 KOs) by unanimous decision in April, and then scored a November, second-round knockout of rival southpaw, Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs), that avenged a December, majority decision loss in which both fighters were floored in the first round.
In this FanHouse video interview, Tapia talks about Martinez as well as what it was like to train with Pacquiao in the Philippines.
