Last Saturday, WBC middleweight (160 pounds) titlist Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 knockouts) may have earned himself Fighter of the Year honors, if not, Knockout of the Year.
The 35-year-old Martinez scored a shocking, HBO-televised second-round knockout over challenger Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs), who was ranked No. 3 on most lists among the best fighters pound-for-pound in the sport behind six-time champ Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs) and eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs), the latter of whom holds the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) belts.
Martinez’s effort avenged an earlier loss to Williams, who, in December, won a disputed majority decision over Martinez in a clash of southpaws during which both fighters were floored in the first round. In April, Martinez dethroned middleweight king Kelly Pavlik by unanimous decision.
In this video, Martinez describes and breaks down how he knocked out Williams.
Martinez is promoted by Lou DiBella, Williams, by Goossen Tutor Promotions, Mayweather, by Golden Boy Promotions, and Pacquiao and Pavlik, by Top Rank Promotions.

Welcome back, did you check out this awesome street fighting program, it rocks

Skunk showed up with a new Everlast XS Mini Bag. It was like 1×2….no, hahaha….it was like 3×6 though. Super small. Not easy to hit and control. Well, Skunk hit it faster than any speed bag I’ve ever seen hit and controlled just as well! And he was just chillin’, goin’ for it, no pressure. I don’t think there is a clip out there of anyone hitting advanced punches this fast! And maybe not even hitting the boxer basic punches. The Speed Bag SKunk continues to dominate! BAGS UP!
