Featherweight (126 pounds) prospect Robert Rodriguez has won all six of his fights without knockouts, and serves as the sparring partner for Top Rank Promotions lightweight (135 pounds) star, Brandon Rios (26-0-1, 19 knockouts), who is coming off of an HBO pay per view televised, Top Rank Promotions Nov. 13, fourth-round knockout of Omri Lowther (14-3, 10 KOs) that was contested at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Next up for Rios (pictured at right) is a Showtime televised, Feb. 26 appearance opposite WBA champ Miguel Acosta (28-3, 22 KOs), who has a 19-fight winning streak the includes 12 knockouts, and stoppages in his previous three bouts.

Rodriguez believes that Floyd Mayweather is better than WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) titlist Manny Pacquiao.

Trainer Robert Garcia’s Boxing Academy is in Oxnard Calif, where Manny Pacquiao’s preist, Father Marlon, also resides.

On Nov. 13 at the Dallas Cowboys’ Stadium, Pacquiao, the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king with a record of 51-3-2 with 38 knockouts, and former world champion Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KOs), will meet in an HBO pay per view televised, Top Rank Promotions clash for the WBC’s junior middleweight (154 pounds) belt.

Garcia, who trains Margarito (pictured above), said that Pacquiao needs to pray.

As he prepares ex-titlist Antonio Margarito for his HBO televised, Top Rank Promotions Nov. 13 clash with WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king Manny Pacquiao for the vacant WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) title, 35-year-old trainer Robert Garcia is already regarded by some as one of the premiere men at his craft in the business.

Lightweight contender, Brandon Rios, certainly believes so, adding that in his opinion that Garcia may be better than four-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach of Pacquiao’s corner.
