As promised, this is the follow-up to my initial review of the Lonsdale sparring glove. I’ve increased my rating to 8.5. The only real set back being the overall quality of the glove and fact that it has started to fray along the edge of the underside opening. I now own the hook and loop version as well and highly recommend both if you are in the market for a new sparring glove.

Welcome back, did you check out this awesome street fighting program, it rocks

@elongatuspiranha I would recommed the Everlast evergel bag in small for your wife. I would also recommed the Ringside BG10 bag gloves in Regualr size. You can also look at the Everlast Ergo Molded Foam bag gloves in size small. All are good gloves. I really dont know much about the brand you asked about.

Thanks so much for your reply. Your reviews are great, I wish you would do more! The Ringside BG10 aren’t on sale anymore…to bad for me. Another question, what do you think of the TUF-WEAR Super Bag Gloves?? Also my wife has small hands, having a very hard time finding a good quality bag glove with a small hand compartment for her. Her hand measurements are 6.3” from bottom of wrist to tip of finger and 6.8 around her knuckles. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot & KEEP UP THE GREAT REVIEWS!

@elongatuspiranha of the ones you mentioned I would go with the Ringside IMF Tech bag gloves. The Everlast EverGel Bag gloves are also very nice and they incorporate a mesh palm which aids with cooling and drying the glove. I have both and like them very much. Another model that is surprisingly nice is the Ringside BG10. They were on sale about a month ago for $24 so I bought six pair and we really like them.

Hi I’m considering my first pair of Bag Gloves do you have any recommendations? I’m considering either the Ringside IMF bag gloves, Lonsdale elite bag gloves, or TITLE Platinum Bag Gloves, Title Gel bag gloves. What do you think. Please help me out! Thanks inadvance

  • mhel8277:

@mifi456 I would choose the 12 or 14 oz bag glove over these. The ones reviewed here are desigened for sparring.

  • mifi456:

can u use this glove on the bag to

  • mhel8277:

@mifi456 They are definitely worth it and they should last at least a year perhaps even longer. Like I said before the only problem I am having is the edge around the opening of the glove but its not really a big problem.

  • mifi456:

how long do they last for like are they worth it

  • mhel8277:

Good choice…they continue to be my favorite

  • thanielthomas:

Picking up a pair of these for my next gloves…I figure with a 1 year warranty on them, if the only problem is craftsmanship then what the hell. Could turn out to be a good thing if I can wear them out inside a year…

  • josh:

I have a pair, great gloves at first, after 3mo. the foam broke down over my first two knuckles leaving a dip in the glove. they wont make it a year if u use them much dont buy em, had a cheaper pair of title gels that lasted 13mo. beat em flat but got my moneys worth.
