Some of the bums that Mayweather and Pacman fought went 12 rounds and you respect Hatton for getting embarrassed and KO’d in 2 against them. If Hatton lost but put up a good fight fair enough, but he didn’t.

I dont buy it he just was never a really hard puncher there is no shame in it though his record is still impressive (but imo massively overhyped).
That punch would KO someone, but he never fought like that. Calzaghe never sat on his punches in fights, it was all speed and footwork and it worked.

Its clearly disfunctional in measuring power Calzaghe was never the most powerful puncher around and to say he can punch harder the Holyfeild (not the hardest either but a heavyweight puncher) is a joke.
It would be nice if boxing machines were set to one level and could accurately measure the strength of a punch. You can only ever do this with a heavy bag, but that is much less exciting than the spectacle of clocking a punchball.
Tyson, Marciano, Benn and Foreman could score very highly in a one punch test.
different machine and evander holyfield (if you watch the video) basically taps the bag and gets 700 odd.
Look at what Evander Holyfield’s punch was like on soccer am, then you’ll see why he got a lower score.
